I did my Undergraduate at University of Miami and University of Tennessee, Knoxville and completed dental school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
After that, I completed an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) surgical residency that focused on IV sedation and dental implants.
I come from a long line of dentists, including both my parents, my sister, and my late grandfather. I guess you could say that helping heal people’s teeth is a family tradition.
Today, my focus is finding ways to improve my patients' health through dentistry. What I find is that when patients’ dental issues are solved it rebuilds their confidence and allows them to smile and chew again.
When eating no longer hurts, we can eat healthy diets. And when we are more confident it promotes social interactions - which has been shown to reduce depression and help with overall mental health.
Which circles back to my focus, helping my patience live the healthiest life they can.
